Holiday Procrastination

I love the holidays, but they make me procrastinate just a little more than I should. I have loads more excuses I can use and even my muse will cave after a few of these:

I cant', I have all these cookies to make

I've been on my feet all day baking

I've still not done decorating

I have to iron the tablecloths and table scarves

I still have shopping to do

I have to wrap presents

I'm still cleaning up the kitchen

I have to run out and get more eggs and butter

It's too cold outside

It's too snowy outside

It's too icy outside

I do get a lot done because the simple fact that the weather is nastier, and I'm inside more. It's still nice to have some new excuses to dodge work and not be productive. Unfortunately, my dear daughter would like to have some pretty expensive gifts for Christmas, so these excuses..... will have to wait.
